This is the current family pet, Angel. He's about five years old in this picture. Animals, pets, especially cats, are some of my favorite things to photograph. They don't hide their face because they see a camera, they don't fake smile or pose in some goofy way, and they don't stop what they're doing. Animal photographs are real. The real challenge in animal photography is to get a unique or interesting shot, IMO. I don't think I really managed that here, but I like the shot anyway.
Anyway, I just love how expressive this cat in particular is. That isn't quite as evident in this shot as it is in others I've taken, which I haven't decided if I'll upload or not.
Photoshop 7 used only to crop and resize the photograph.
Thanks for viewing, I hope you like!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
